No; I ate some when I was little also; as have most of my neices and nephews now but none of us has killed over from it yet.
Just try to watch and make sure they don't make a habit out of it.

Of course not, if so, my little cousins, myself and many many other people would already be dead. it's pretty common for kids to get into the dog food. my little cousin was a frequent visitor to the dog food bowl, I actually have a picture of one of him eating out of the bowl with my gradmas dog. He was maybe a year old in the pic and is now 23 and hasn't had any side effects from the dog food.

I'm not sure if they can get poisoned but i don't think it would be a good idea to feed it to children. I've heard it is made up of other animal meat including fellow canines, which can carry all kinds of diseases so i wouldn't risk feeding it to humans at all.

I cannot believe I let my KIDS eat/share kibble while they were growing up
If I were wealthy I would feed my dogs raw
but not thrifty enough to do so
there's real road kill crap in those "by-products" that are listed
one of the best ingredients in kibble is:
yano what MacFastFoodPlaces do with all that used fat?
kept in barrels
for weeks/months
picked up
stored weeks/months longer
and added to your dog food as a 'human grade' ingredient!
so my answer IS
depends on what your dog food IS
I purchase the best I can afford
and pray it's GOOD human quality non-grain, species appropriate 4-legged GOOD stuff
hmmm never heard of anyone getting together a class action lawsuit saying their kids were harmed by THEIR letting THEIR kids eat DOGfood~hah

No. While dog food probably does not taste very good and because most dog foods are high in fat they are not very good for you but they contain nothing that would harm you.

No - I know a breeder that tries any dog food or treats herself before giving them to her dogs.

While I'm sure if they ate enough of it, it might make them sick, most commercial dog foods are made of meat, rice, and water and sometimes milk. All the products are edible.

Yes because it eats some kind of food that no human can eat because of some chemicals. So don't give it to the children to play and be carefull.
