i say microsoft. the compatibility with other electronic items is better for instance digital camera's and camcorders. i just bought a $1400 camcorder with a hard drive and if i had an apple computer none of the sony software would have been compatible with it.

Apple: 1. Super fast
2. Can dual boot Windows (Why would you ever want to?)
3. iLife is great! (GarageBand, iPhoto, iMovie, etc..)
4. Their computers have a great design!
5. Virtually no viruses and spyware!!
