If there is something I do not understand, I do more in-depth research on the matter. Contrary to popular belief here at the R&S section,Christians are not brainwashed morons. We study, research and test our beliefs, because we are told in the Bible to do so.(1 Thess. 5:21) On the other hand, we do not have the mind of God,and can therefore not comprehend everything. There are some questions that won't have answers until we get to Heaven. But, I believe that the unbelievers will also have all their questions answered, and they will realize just how foolish they have been in not believing the Word of God over the word of man.The Bible says that the evidence for God's Design of the universe is so strong that people are "without excuse" in rejecting God and His Plan of Salvation.(Romans 1:19-20)

If you hear anyone syaing they "understand" God's Word and Will, and that they "know" The Bible... implying they "KNOW" it better than an other... or even may have most all of it memorized... that is the one you do not want to listen to about The Bible. You want to listen to a sincier belliever who is struggeling for greater understanding and knows he, or she, dose not know even 10% of it..... and most certainly you do not want to listen to a "theologen" with degrees coming out of his mouth.... Most Bible scholors know squat about The True Faith.
The Bible of The True Christian Faith is not for non-believers anyway...unless they are being led by The Holy Spirit.
I have been of The True Christian Faith for 6 1/2 yrs. I have been "studying" The Bible for about 4. I did not even own a Bible on The Day of my Salvation. I have ye to make it al the way through it. I probably will not in this mortal life... The Bible is not intended to be read from cover to cover as a novel... or a text book... If I come to an understanding of 10% of it in this mortal live Iwill concider it an accomplishment... as I am near 60 I might not make it that far... But God knows my weakness in study and will guide me to that which He wants me to know...

I am a Christian Pastor that has studied for years and there are still areas and verses that I'm sure I don't understand fully.
I just leave it up to God to reveal to me those hidden meanings when He feels the time is right.
As far as I'm concerned God said it, I may not understand it, but it's true none the less.

I do not maintain "I do not know" file. When reading the scripture, i see to it that I pray first to God for understanding and most of the times he leads me to someone who knows the answer.
Usually I seek God more, doctrine and teaching are but secondary to me. What matters is the truth of the scripture which he presented to those who seek him diligently.

Ecclesisates 3:11 backs up your comment that we should not think we will come to know everything.
God will always be a few steps ahead of us.
Finding out is part of what makes life interesting.
We shall be finding out forever.

There are lots of things I do not know and am content that God knows all things and that it is all in His hands. I feel the same about everyday life though and again am content in God being all knowing.

Mindless adherents to dogma don't need to understand-they are satisfied with whatever falsehoods unscrupulous clerics want to ram down their throats.
