If I married outside the US? please give sources

If you still outside you have to apply for a Visa, it will take from weeks to a Year, then you will have 6 months to use that Visa, when you get to the US you will have up to 90 days to get married then apply for a green card which will take up to 3 moths to get.

How long it takes depends on what type of visa you are applying for or adjusting from. Are you still outside the US? Is your spouse a US Citizen?

If your USC spouse filed for an I-130 for you, it can take up to a year or more.

If your spouse is only a Permanent Resident, it could take 5-10 years.

Do the paperwork yourself and it will take less than 3 months

where was you married at ....I was married in usa and from Canada it took me almost 5 years to get mine:) good luck...and lots of paper work to go with it too:(
