For the user that said that nothing will helop that is a total lie, I have one daughter and she is five and a half, for the first five years after she was born, I never worked out or anything, now for the last 14 weeks I have been working out, you do not have to go to the gym either, you could jog in your neighborhood, ride a bike, because you need some sort of cardio, then you could do hundreds of different ab exercises right on you living room floor, you could go to fitness magazine online and they have tons of examples of what you can do, My entire belly is not gone, but now it is toned, is your stomach discolored too? by strechmarks? Because if it is cocoa butter works miracles, I promise my strech marks are white now, and you cannot even see them without looking real close, also if your diet is bad you coule start to eat healthier too, after you do some good cardio, you will not want to eat bad foods, you could eat some peanuts and 4 or 5 ounces of chocolate milk(to give you protien, it makes you stronger!!!! Good luck you can do it!!! Trust me you will feel so much better!!! Also what I do with my daughter to get work out, is I turn on a good cd to dance to and Just so I wouldn't stop, I would tell her, ok lets dance to five songs, you can't act any sillier than what you act like in front of your children, often you are having so much fun you will go longer than five songs!!!! Good luck, Love yourself!!!! That helps too!!!

Don't be discouraged, your tummy can tighten (and the skin can 'retract' too) after you've had children. It works best if you take it slowly and gradually, and enjoy the progress, rather than just focussing on 'the result'.
Doing normal everyday activities with the correct 'PELVIC TILT' will allow your belly to adapt, without having to do all sorts of punishing physical jerks (which are bad for your back).
A lot of the media pressure to do gymwork & diet is offputting because the images they use are pretty unattainable unless you can work on it fulltime (they even have specialised 'fitness models', because even most MODELS don't look like that).
The problem with situps and crunches is that they don't work the right muscles to 'nip in' the belly (you see a lot of guys with a six-pack on their bulgey belly). They concentrate on the RA (rectus ab) muscle that can produce that egg-box look, but is pretty useless for anything else.
Any activity that involves 'wriggling' your waist will activate the layers which pinch your abdominal cavity together (internal & external obliques), and increase the 'hydrostatic support' they provide for your spine, too.
A Pilates class can be helpful, because it will teach you how to hold a 'pelvic tilt', so that you retrain your posture (you need to stand differently when you're pregnant, but it can become a habit). Even a book about pilates, or a video, will help you to get the hang of this.
Belly Dance, Salsa dancing, and even walking like Mae West ('the sashay') are good for working on your belly and waist, if you do them with the correct tilt. You can also get a turntable and use it daily at home (the one they sell for putting the telly on works just as well), if you want a repetitive focussed workout.

Hi there, you cant simply lose the fat at a particular since it is not that area which is producing fat. for example, ppl with fat belly do thousands of sit ups and not seeing nicer belly. ( nothing against fat people :) )
To lose weight, the best thing is to do cardiovascular exercises like biking, jogging, walking at a fast pace...You are supposed to do them on an empty stomach in the morning or in the evening. The reason why we do it on an empty stomach is bcos u dont hav any food in ur body that it needs fuel to get energy for u to do that exercise.. Then, your body resorts to burning the body fat as a fuel. Do cardio for 40-45 mins 6-7 times a week. But, note this that cardio takes 30% and diet takes 70%. So eat 4-5 small meals a day which contains low carbs, high quality protein ( lean read meat such as chicken breast, nuts ( they hav good fats which make u lose bodyfat and good for general health ), beans, turky, tuna ) and lot of vegetables ( dont eat junk food like french fries or McDonal food or stuff ). By eating smaller meals more frequently the metabolism become fast and it help ur body put in an anabolic state which is good for losing fat. And avoid eating sugary food , sweets and the likes. Try to hav less stress ( just try to think that argument or whatever problem is not gonna kill u that you dont really hav to care much, for example). And try to get restful sleep around 7 hrs a day. SO, that is everything u hav to do. You will see the difference in 2-3 mths if u follow them strictly.
truth be told that alcohol , beer is very fattening and it decreases ur testosterone level resulting in estrogen increase which encourage ur body to gather more and more fat. And Fruits !! when losing fat, avoid fruits bcos they contains sugar and stuff which are fattening. Good luck :)
Dont forget to eat nutritious breakfast right after the cardio

I have had the same prob for years! Although I have good intentions trying situps etc., I never last (they're so hard when you have a weak tummy)
However since taking up swimming every morning (only half hour) my shape has definately changed making more of a waist, I haven't lost weight through swimming but just toned up, I would say give it a try

The best stomach flattener I know is Dr. Miller's Holy Tea used with Dr. Miller's fatburners. People say that they have tried everything - but with thousands of weight loss products and diets out there - how could they???
For a proven system developed by one of America's top nutritionalist see miracleteasite.com and surf around to the weight loss page. Check out the amazing pictures.
It's a shame for anyone to have a big belly!

Pilates is fantastic. As well as all parts of the body, it mainly focuses on tightening up and toning all the muscles that surround the torso, front back and sides. In addition it involves the pelvic floor muscles, so some of the other effects of having your two boys will be remedied!!!

Tummy tuck surgery is very safe nowadays. My cousin got her breast reduction, tummy tuck and facelift surgery in India by the company called Forerunners Healthcare .The Price for the surgery she paid in India was very less. She paid 30% of the cost she was quoted in America.
Forerunners Healthcare is very famous in India. They arrange cosmetic and plastic surgery for foreigners in India. I read a lot about them in the Newspapers and about their patient stories. They arrange financing for USA, Canadian, UK and other international patients who plan to have surgery abroad for low price, as the breast reduction, tummy tuck, facelift and other cosmetic surgery is not covered by insurance. They also have photos pasted of their International patients. You can checkout their website. There are huge cost savings. As a doctor I personally believe that surgery can be easily handled in India, as the quality of healthcare available In India is simply best in the world. The surgeons are USA/UK trained and facilities are 5 star.

Hope this helps.
