Getting up at 3:00 in the morning to go to the bathroom, still half asleep, and stepping into a puddle of cold dog pee on the carpet...by far more evil than anything else I have ever encountered...especially if your wearing socks.

The absense of love.
Not necessarily hate, but our apathy-- the way that we don't seem concerned when children are starving, ppl are dying of aids, young girls are being made prostitutes to feed their families, and young boys are made into child soldiers, and who will grow up to propagate more hate because that's all they know. As long as we can stand by knowing these things exist without doing anything to prevent it, we are part of the problem. evil isn't some big bad monster outside in the dark, it's in the hearts of those who don't reach out to make a difference for their generation.

Being forced to listen to Galaxy whilst trying to write coursework on Canals. That is just plain evil.

Hate. From hate derives murders, grief, theft, abuse, wars, ignorance, intolerance, and on and on. Evil stems from one's ability to control their feelings of hate. Some may say money....but again that falls into jealousy and greed which derives from hate.
