It was around 5 days - not a pleasant feeling at all.

We asked our group and the longest a member could come up with was flying from London to Mexico City via the States and then back to Stockholm and finally to New York with very short working bits in between and as she is a nervous flyer anyway she did not sleep, other than catnaps of very short duration for 5 days. Was anyone ever in the wrong job and yes she did have the sense to quit shortly after.

It would be around 55 / 60 hours. I would not recommend it, after 48 hours I was tired, irritable and not very well co ordinated, but during the time I was doing an awful lot of physical activity and under immense mental pressure to get the task in question right.

when I managed to sleep I did so for 8 hours and was woken up, I did so with an almighty headache, but as the week progressed my sleep debt to my poor body equalised and I eventually felt normal after a few days.

The longest I have ever stayed awake was about....... Two days straight and a couple more hours. Basically running on coffee and mountain dew.

I think the longest has been about 26-28 hours, back when I was a flight attendant.

About 40 hours. Up at normal time - 7am - full day - red eye flight from NY to Paris - train to south France - out to dinner and club - home - bed - then up again about 3 hours later!

About 36 hours. And I was really loopy after working 5 shifts straight with no break. That really compounded the no sleep thing.

Almost 2 days.
It was when I first got a computer with internet (I was 13) and I was so amazed by it that I stayed up for almost 48 hours.
