i wanna buy my girlfriend a glass dolphon for christmas, and get something engraved on it. Is it possible to do on glass? How much would something like that cost?

Very possible if there is a computerized engraving machine in your area. Check out the trophy stores as most have these machines now. Price will range but there is usually a set up fee and a price per letter. Nice idea for a gift.

I believe it is possible but as far as price goes everyone charges something different and it would depend on the style of lettering and how many letters.

A jeweler can engrave it for you. Call around, it shouldn't be too expensive.
