your baby sleeps when she is tired..of course it is ok, Her body is doing what it needs to do. There is no right or wrong way of when a baby sleeps...as long as the baby is not being denied sleep for any reason it is how nature intended your baby to sleep.

Yep! I don't see anything wrong with is, as long as she is getting some naps in and still sleeping at night I think it's fine. We have a good friend who's baby didn't nap throughout the day until he was about 9 months old. All he did was cat naps here and there that never lasted more than 30 minutes.

Congrats on the new addition to your family :)

It's fine I have a 10 month old and she wakes at 6-7 am and plays then by 11:00am shes out and up at 1:00 and back asleep around 3:00-4:00 and up at 6:00 then back asleep for the rest of the night about 7:00 or 8:00. Once your baby gets a sleep pattern going on it'll be alot better GOOD LUCK..

As a clean confirm, it really is likely easily one of your greatest questions. lower than are some ordinary regulations as to what number hours of sleep the overall newborn calls for at numerous a at the same time as. of route, each and every newborn is different — some want as a lot as 2 hours extra or a lot less sleep than others. a million month - evening Sleep:8 a million/2 daylight hours Sleep: 7(3) complete Sleep: 15 a million/2 3 months - evening Sleep:10 daylight hours Sleep:5(3) complete Sleep: 15 6 months - evening Sleep :eleven daylight hours Sleep:3 a million/4(2) complete Sleep: 14 a million/4 9 months - evening Sleep: eleven daylight hours Sleep:3(2) complete Sleep: 14 365 days - evening Sleep:eleven a million/4 daylight hours Sleep:2 a million/2(2) complete Sleep:13 3/4 18 months - evening Sleep:eleven a million/4 daylight hours Sleep:2 a million/4(a million) complete Sleep: 13 a million/2 2 years - evening Sleep: eleven daylight hours Sleep:2(a million) complete Sleep: 13 3 years - evening Sleep: 10 a million/2 daylight hours Sleep:a million a million/2(a million) complete Sleep:12 * kind of naps in parentheses

It's perfectly normal. Baby's sleep approximately 16-18 hours a day, mostly sporadically. My little ones used to sleep the night through and take multiple naps a day between feedings.

yes that's fine! young babies need lots of sleep you don't say whether she sleeps through the night yet but if she does then 3 hours in afternoon might affect their bedtime .I have a 22m old and he still sleeps for an hour in afternoon but he still goes to bed at 7 and wakes at 7. each child is different my daughter now 3 stopped having a nap at 2 but my son will still need it .if your child sleeps through the night but the 3 hour afternoon nap makes her go to bed later at night ,get a regular early bed time by putting them to bed 15 Min's early every night until you get the time you desire.if they don't sleep through yet then you can combat this by giving them a late feed which might see them trough till morning. whatever you only need to worry about how much time she is spending asleep in the day after 6 months when your child should be sleeping through-good luck.

Babies are all different. The amount of sleep they need can be as varied as an adult. Let her sleep when she's tired. I had one baby that slept all the time, and two that napped twice a day and then slept all night at that age.

Good luck!

I'm sure that as he/she grows up they will become more active and sleep less but sleeping for 3 hours and 40 minutes during the day is perfectly fine unless your family is having a problem with it. Good luck raising your child i hope he/she grows up to be an active (non-sleepy) beautiful child.

Bisous and good luck
