There is no record, either in Scripture or in history, of the early Church celebrating the birth of the Messiah. The date was set by Pope Julius I in order to more easily convert non-Christians with celebrations at that time of year.

And did you know that for a period of time it was made illegal, by Christians, to practice Christmas in the USA? Look it up.

same reason Christians replaced Jesus for Paul. Immediate gratification. Immediate gratification that comes from getting a present. Or the immediate gratification that comes from judging others.

Because they don't want to offend anyone which i don't like people doing it myself especially when they call the christmas tree an holiday tree.
