I always use go for the best quality that I can afford at the time. Also, keep in mind what you are using it for. If it is being used primarily for its taste, you want a really good quality.

I buy the brand from Trader Joe's. It's very high quality and not as expensive as some of the other olive oils out there. But I did try a more independent, Italian label at my fancy grocery store recently. It was very expensive, but you could definitely tell from the fragrance and taste that the quality was far superior!

I also use Bertolli Classic, I prefer the flavor of this one even more then the more expensive. I use it for all my cooking instead of vegetable oil. Keep this in mind though, don't be to overwhelmed with the different types. cooking eggs just plain old virgin olive oil is fine, doing something a little exotic consider the e.v.o(extra virgin oil).it will add more flavor. Olive oil is also heathier then veggie oil.

I usually use Bertolli, unless there's a sale on another kind which makes it cheaper. We go through so much olive oil that I just buy whatever's on sale and cheap. I think there's a bottle of Star olive oil in the cupboard now.

I usually buy Bertolli... it's not the cheapest, but it's not super expensive either. For a special occasion I might get a better quality oil, but for everyday cooking and salad making, this one rocks.
