The vagina is self-cleansing and needs nothing more than the usual wash of external parts with soap and water. A douche is unnecessary and potentially dangerous.

Douche" in German means to wash. Douche in English is a feminine hygene product. The "Bag" part of it, is the bag used to sqeeze the soap up into the vagina -- thus getting it (the bag) very wet if not done properly. To call someone a "Douche Bag" is supposed to be a very crass insult.

A douche bag is constructed like an enema bag but used for washing the vagina etc. in case of infection and that sort of thing. It's used as an insult, usually to men if they're total tossers, or women if they are promiscuous and unclean about themselves (as in "minger".) An ugly insult but then insults usually are meant to be.

Vagina douching,promising to clean unwanted ordors it can also be used by women who wish to have intercourse during menustration in order to avoid blood smearing the penis.
