Not alone, but to be brutally honest it's one of the reasons I'm pro-choice (although a very minor one as compared to a woman's right to choose). It's one of the many ways to control the population, although there are much more effective measures.

NO!
abortion may be a factor in helping the overpopulation problem, but in isn't going to solve the problem.
the reason why it would help, is because for every two children born they usualy have two offspring, which leads to an exponential growth pattern.
Abortion may slow this a little bit, in an indirect fashion.

because while most abortion occur because of unwanted pregnancies of people who are not ready financially, or emotionally to have children, because they themselves aren't responsible enough to rear children, you end up with a situation that they don't nurture the responsibility in their offspring should they keep them. This causes their children to do the same.
now if they terminate the preganancy we don't have a bunch of people running around who didn't get the benefit of good parents teaching them the things they should have....like the birds and bees, and how to have protected sex.

so yeah it may slow this exponential growth phase a little, but it isn't going to do a great deal of good.
churches changing their views of birth control, and every man and woman accepting it as their responsibility to raise children who are sexually responsible would help even more.

I am prochoice for the functional apsects it serves society, but i really don't agree with it.

while abstanence helps prevent the spread of sexual disease, and it really doesn't do alot of good for overpopulation considering that same person is still going to have offspring in several years, and well abstenance .....lol it just isn't going to happen.

the best way to prevent most of our environmentla problems is education. and not the kind of educating that is the result of this new "no child left behind" garbage!

To receive the right information, and education in the first place may be more of a preventative to the over population problem than having to abort babies.

Sick little baby killers are all going to hell. Not the planet. Maybe don't use disposable items like foam plates/cups ect. Better ways to save the planet especially when factually everyone in America could fit in California. Maybe spreading out is key.

The historic pattern is for people to have less children as they become more prosperous. In industrialized countries increase in the population from births outnumbering deaths has slowed, and in some places, such as Germany, has begun to reverse. I doubt seriously that abortion will ever become a globally significant factor in population control.

Haha. I asked a Christian "pal" this as quickly as, in a fashion. I say "pal" as a substitute of pal because of the fact if I weren't working together with her, i could be calling her a ***** =] i substitute into asking no count if this is alright to sin if it ability fixing one in all God's creations that we've ruined.. She pronounced that God gave us this Earth, and we destroyed it with the aid of sinning. And we aren't meant to restoration it, it somewhat is why fixing it may be sin -- so as that we would desire to stay with the Hell we've progressed for ourselves. then she began yelling something approximately how i bypass to Hell for listening to Marilyn Manson.. One area of it somewhat is, nonetheless, the international has a donning skill. honestly, particularly some each species which could survive right here, and be supported, formerly they start to die out and the ambience depletes. As human beings, we've a good distance outreached our donning skill, because of the fact we've the technologies to make it artwork. yet nonetheless, it is going to proceed to alter. in case you have a field with rabbits and wolves, the wolves will consume the rabbits. So, the rabbit inhabitants will decrease, however the wolf inhabitants will develop -- till there are too few rabbits, and the wolf inhabitants will bypass down returned. as quickly as that happens, there will be much less predators after the rabbits, so their inhabitants will develop. while greater rabbits are born, the wolf inhabitants will develop, besides -- till all of it in basic terms starts off over, returned. nonetheless the components are diverse, the comparable difficulty will ensue to human beings, if we shop going as we at the instant are. at last, our technological improvements would be outrun with the aid of nature, and the inhabitants will decrease. it somewhat is in basic terms the way it somewhat is. So, somewhat, we are going to all die no count if we sin, or not. in basic terms yet in any different case wherein technological information outdoes God =] Edit: alluring Mess, you would be chuffed to understand that i'm donning pants precise now, as are a brilliant style of the Y!A consumers.

i think that abortions is the remedy for over population. the world cannot be over populated because of mortality rates of death which is higher now than before. Over population is only a term for lack of place to live in not it meant for density of people. There were still lots of lands unhabited including the forest and mountains and plateau. Over population may come from imbalance number of people which failed to recognize the proper ratio and proportioning. The best remedy is not to kill the fetus, but to be responsible in keeping the world a better place to live.
