Yes! There is only one GOD! All are descendants of Abraham and all were made into great nations per the Bible.

GOD does not want different things from us.
It is stated in all relogions that we are to except the oneness of GOD, to worhip and revere GOD. And to serve mankind, love your neighbor as yourself.

That never changes, no matter wht religion. It's mankind that has created religions, not GOD.
GOD never said. I'm this religion or that. GOD said, "I AM the ALPHA and the OMEGA", the FIRST and the LAST, the BEGINNING and the END.

i think so, and im not sure God wants different things, part of each of the teachings they use, from their holy books, was given to help them at that point in time, how to deal with the culture they had,,,,after that, it comes to interpretation and how you apply it,,,, the basic core tenets of most religions are the same,,,,, steps to better yourself, how to treat your fellow people etc

There is only One God. Every Prophet and Messenger called to the worship of One God. Islam is built upon this belief. In Islam the final religion of God or Allaah, we worship the God that the Jews and Christians worshipped. Allaah is the proper name of God in Arabic, the language God chose to reveal His final Scripture and the only complete scripture, the Quran. Allaah means, the "One True God" and is the name to which God refers to Himself. No man called God Allaah. it was revealed and the name of God known before Islam. The amazing thing about this name, it has no plural form. Most, if not all nouns have a pural form, not Allaah. What human being could think up a noun that has no plural form? Thus, Allaah refers only to the One, True, God, the God for all humanity.
What God wants for His creation is easily known in Islam but more difficult to specify from old and new testaments. Allah says in the Quran; "I created Jinns and Men in order that they may worship Me". How simple. We are too worship God in the way He specifies, not in the way man invents. Thus, He, Allaah does not want multiple faiths, doing different things yet all leading to success in the Hereafter. This makes no sense. How can worshipping a "son" of God, be equal to worshipping God directly, and without attributing to Him what He Himself never attributed to Himself? Jesus never said he was God, son of God and never called others to worship him. Allaah reveal in His Book, the Quran the truth about Jesus;
“And (remember) when Allaah will say (on the Day of Resurrection): ‘O ‘Eesa (Jesus), son of Maryam (Mary)! Did you say unto men: Worship me and my mother as two gods besides Allaah?’ He will say: ‘Glory be to You! It was not for me to say what I had no right (to say). Had I said such a thing, You would surely have known it. You know what is in my inner self though I do not know what is in Yours; truly, You, only You, are the All Knower of all that is hidden (and unseen)." Q5:116
And you should also know that Allaah says; "They (Jews and Christians) took their rabbis and monks to be their lords besides Allaah (by obeying them in things they made lawful or unlawful according to their own desires without being ordered by Allaah and (they also took as their Lord) Messiah, son of Mariam (Mary), while they (Jews and Christians) were commanded in the Torah and Gospel to worship none but One Ilah (God-Allaah), La ilaha illa Huwa (none has the right to be worshipped but He). Praise and glory be to Him (far above is He)from having the partners they associate with Him." Q9:31
So, we, human beings are too worship God-Alllaah according to His Religion Islam. Islam means, 'the willful submission to the will of God'. All other religions, philosophies, etc., have been named by human beings and usually as to the one people attribute it too. For example, Christianity, after jesus christ, judaism, after Judah (tribe or person), buddhism, after Gathama Buddah, Hinduism, after Hindus, marxism after Karl Marx, etc. But, Allaah named His religion and sent it down by revelation to His Final Messenger for all of humanity, Muhammad, peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him. Allaah says; "Truly the Religion with Allaah is Islam". Q3:19 Also, "This day, I have perfected your religion for you, completed My favor upon you and have chosen Islam for you as your Religion." Q5:3
In my readings I have never seen the name of christianity or judaism in the Bibles and if has appeared of late it is only because the bibles are constantly undergoing revisions and are printed by many companies and groups. Language changes for the time, etc. I then ask, if the bible is changed in intepretations on such a regular basis how can we then call those books the true word of god?
God wants us to worship Him in His religion Islam and according to His commands and in the manner He revealed to His Final Prophet Muhammad, who is followed but not worshipped. And Allaah reveals in many different verses to "Obey me and the Messenger (Muhammad).
And the right guidance is with Allaah.
