The Egyptians used "candling" as a way to remove debris from inside the ear. Try it, it works, the local health food store should have them. The tighter the muslin is wrapped, the better. It is around $10.00 and they worked well for my family. Just follow the directions on the package. If that doesn't work take her to the Dr. Never use q-tips, this is the main reason why. Good luck!

I just spent weeks in and out of hospitals treating an infected ear, because of bacteria blown in my ear. Different Doctors tried different methods of treating this, but the last Doctor used a small vacuum suction device. This worked but I have taken a lot of antibiotics, finally over with it lost about 80% of my hearing because I went to the wrong Doctors etc. This hearing loss will be permanent I understand.

Do not touch anything! Do not stick anything smaller than your thumb in the ear. You risk permanent hearing loss and infection. Go to an ER now!

If the tweezers doesn't work then you can take her to the hospital and get it flushed out with a liquid called saline. Its painless.
