There are some signs of perhaps a kind of proto-spirituality in chimpanzees. They are known to watch sunsets in awe.
However, you are right. Human beings have certain traits that distinguish them from animals, such as advanced language, mathematics, philosophy, engineering, and artwork. Oh - and yes - spirituality & theology.
I'll choose the human portion, thanks all the same. If you wish to choose the part of the animals, I can't stop you.

Yes, there is one God (of the Bible). But my dog shows no evidence of being devoted to God. He's devoted to me playing with him, feeding him, petting him, etc. But I'm definitely not God.
My dog demonstrates no belief in God. I'm sure because I asked him, but all he did was jump off the bed and run around. Also, he pays absolutely no attention when the TV is showing religious broadcasting.

No, human beings are the only ones that are so inferior that they are the only life forms on this planet capable of deluding it's self. We are a flawed creature doomed to die out because of our absurd practices and beliefs.

yes, i think they do know God is there, the only reason most people don't is because we believe we don't need God because we already have everything we need. Animals need to rely on something for food and warmth, animals aren't materialistic like us

Yes, I believe they're more sensitive to it than we are. I have seen dogs wanting to attack me, then suddenly come to a dead stop and coward away as if they had seen the maker himself, I would feel a strong power surrounding me.
