Which wormers are you using? The ones from a pet shop are a waste of time, the only ones that work are from the vets.

What kind of cat food are you using? Many brands, especially the cheap ones, contain lots of grain instead of meat and such. Cats draw no nutrition from that, and while it "fills them up" they get hungry right away again because there's no nutrition for them in it.

Try looking up what's in the food you give them, and try switching food brand. As someone else said, it could also be a good thing to make sure the de-worming worked.

Edit: A note about rubber bands. They can be extremely dangerous for cats, since they don't get digested, and since they stretch they can get stuck in the intestines and damage them. So don't leave any around, and if your cat manages to eat even a piece of rubberband (or sewing thread for that matter), take them to the vet immediately, because it will have to be removed by surgery.

I would suggest definitely seeing the vet to rule out a parasitical infection or worse condition. As you stated the cat is actually gaining weight, it could be a dominance problem.

You have 3 other cats, so how many sets of food dishes do you have? Each cat should have his or her own set of dishes (and not in the same place as the others), otherwise the most dominant of the cats will eat all the food.

Cats are social creatures, but like all creatures, there are those who dominate. It's up to us as the food providers and caregivers to find a solution, otherwise you might lose your other cats to stress and/or malnourishment. Good luck!

Cats don't know how to much to eat. They just eat how much you give them. So if you have food out all day long, well then they will eat all day long. I suggest reading the back of the bag, it lists a guideline of how much food you should feed your cat. Also make sure it is premium cat food and not just a bunch of fillers. Take your cat to the vet for a checkup, he may have something wrong with him.

My gray cat is 6 years old (her birthday was yesterday) and she is the same way. If she isnt sleeping she is using the litterbox or stuffing her face. She looks like a butterball. But you had yours checked out so their is nothing wrong with her. She just loves food like mine. My mom had a saying that went " worry when someone is not eating not when their eating" Yes, my cat sometimes will meow to me and act like she hasnt eaten for days. Drives me nuts! But that is when you as her parent, do not give in to her/him everytime they beg. Good luck

It is up to you to restrict the cat's food intake, if your other cats haven't the problem then separate them when feeding. He can't be continually starving, but continually hungry, so stop giving in to it.

A visit to the vet to make sure there is nothing wrong that would make puss so hungry all the time. If its ok then control the food intake and play with him/her more to get extra exercise.

How do you mean "continually starving"? Do you mean it just begs you for food a lot? If that's the case, it begs because it knows you'll give it more food!! Put it on a twice-a-day feeding schedule and don't give in to its begging and purring and rubbing against your leg. Hope this helps, good luck!

The thin cat most likely has something wrong with him. He might possibly have kidney failure, have thyroid issues, or be diabetic. The cat really needs to be brought into a vet in order to determine what is wrong with him.
