you can either pop them, and then clean the area really good or you can scrub them with a wash and then put a type of mask on them

NWhat ever you do, don't pop them. It might seem like a quick fix but it will be worse in the long run (scarring and even just coming back worse) So get a spot treatment (like Clearasil or Neutrogena) and dab it on. They work pretty well.
