A true Atheist does not believe in deities that is true, they believe in that which can be seen and proven empirically. I think if there were actual proof of God or anything like that then many of them may very well follow that path, although even then the mindset that creates an Atheist would have to view the situation to see if the deity they now knew to be true was one which they could in good conscience follow. After all if I personally believed in God,and saw the world he has created, and all the suffering he has allowed for the entire reign of man, which he had the power to stop anytime he chose would I not be totally justified in vilifying him rather than exhalting him?

By definition, Atheism is the disbelief in the existence of God and other deities. So to be true to the mere definition I suppose an atheist could not believe in a god but could believe in the paranormal.

Yes, that is a perfect definition. But we do not believe at all, we know or we don´t, we presume or we don´t, but we never Believe.
No Atheist believe in ANY supernatural stuff. Neither the flying spaghetti monster, nor life after death.

I believe there used to be a creator before the "Big Birth", but She died in labour on purpose so we wouldn't have to waste time worshipping Her. That would be a form of slavery and that causes rebellion. Since most creators are mistakenly percieved as males, their existance are rejected by logical minds.

In one way Atheists are just the same as Christians, belief and/or conviction differ from person to person, everybody can only speak for themselves in the end.

no that is a false assumption
atheists dont believe in a deity ...
that doesn't mean they believe this life to be the end ...
there are many of course who do feel this way
but there are many others who do believe in some type of afterlife , even if that is a joining of spirit/consciousness somewhere in the universe
one doesn't have to believe in God to believe in eternal progress

Some people just lack the capability to "think outside the box"! It's more
genetics than attitude I suppose. We shoudn't get mad. We should pity
them!

Atheism is the lack of belief is any deity or deities. That's it. Beyond that, their respective ideologies may be as diverse as those of theists.
