by taking action no matter how small .... even if it is helping a neighbour
we cant sit back and say there is nothing we can do , when there is suffering on our doorsteps
every small action accumulates to larger group actions
so it is baby steps ... but baby steps that lead to large leaps

If mankind actually cared, there would be no suffering anymore or at least much less than their currently is. Most people are so wrapped up in their stupid little lives that they could care less about anyone else. Cell phones, Ipods, reality Tv, celebrity gossip, the mall, these are things that interest people, certaintly not all the suffering in the world!! Very Sad!!!!

Stop praying, all of you, and DO something.
If everybody just went and did something real for a real person, wouldn't the world be a much better place?
It would also help if we all curbed our greed and were happy to give to those in need, instead of talking them down as "undeserving", on a personal as well as on a public level, through our state institutions.
And stop the politicians from being greedy on our behalf.

Suffering is the consequence of sin. To stop suffering you would have to eradicate sin, and even then you would not remove the "thorns and thistles" (Naural disasters) that are in our world because of a corrupted natural enviroment. Eventually you come to the conclusion that what Jesus taught is the only answer, that we need to leave this world, and go to a new place that God has prepared for thoes who believe in Him where there is no sin, nor suffering.

We can't. You can't. No one can stop whatever you loosely term "world suffering." You can, however, be charitable to one person at a time as you so choose, and that makes all the difference in the world to that one person.

Become more tolerant yourself and then spread the message of tolerance while you are spereading the word of God. It is okay to tell others your opinion and to share a message with them if they choose to hear it. However, once you have espoused your opinion, if it is met with disbelief or disdain, simply move on. Remember that being a Christian means you should be willing to speak out about God but it also means that you should not judge people who have different beliefs than you, including those who do not believe in anything at all. Respect yourself enough to show everyone else respect regardless of whether or not they extend the same courtesy to you or not. Someone has to be the bigger person....if everyone could do that, you would be on the right track.

support reason instead of faith.
All human suffering is due form the mind being sacrificed.
This is the only good start, everything else is a waste of effort. The faithful will ruin your futile attempts eventually.
Seriously consider it, don't just listen to what you want to hear from these people here.

Get to know Jesus Christ and ask Him to tell you the part He wants you to play to help the world. Only with the power of God working in our lives can we change the world and God needs us to do that for Him because we are His body.

Stop looking at it as suffering. This is only an idea in your mind.

We all come here to learn. Some lessons are difficult to watch, but that does not mean that they are not the perfect lessons for those who chose them.

Just help when you can, but don't see it as being a bad thing.

Love and blessings Don
