any Muslim groups that accept people who are homosexual also? Would people who are gay and lesbian be turned away from praying at a Mosque?

Bibles, like churches, are not God either, number one.

United church of Christ seems to have a Christ like approach to the idea of Gay tolerance.

Problem is I hear at least some of those who are members don't like it much.

Still it's a start in the right direction.

Those churches that accept homosexuality are not Biblically correct.

See Leviticus 18:22 and Romans 1:18-32 at Biblegateway.com

There are 2 ways to live.

Muslims are also abhorrant of homosexuality. When I went to a meeting in the capital of Canada regarding the definition of marriage there was an Iman who spoke against the union of two men or the union of two women defined as marriage because Isam is against homosexuality.

Having homosexual feelings is not a sin in Islam, though homosexual sexual acts are. In Islam, people are discouraged from revealing their sins, so it would be frowned upon for a person to be openly practicing homosexuality, but I can't imagine that he or she would be turned away from praying at any Mosque, given that we are all imperfect, in this life. Now, it shouldn't happen, but it might. I've heard of Shia Muslims being asked to leave Sunni Mosques, so there are always people who will judge and condemn others. This isn't the way it is supposed to be, though.

Absolutely not...everyone has equal rights and some rights over each other. I wouldnt want to be jugded on turning a fellow muslim away from praying in the mosque. They're just as much muslim as you are. I'm sure there might be homesexual muslims somewhere but the thing is not to ostracize them, even though many spiritual people know that it is wrong; you should show them what is correct. To be an example, and in the end that's really all you can do. It's their choice if they should change or not.

Homosexuality is a sin, however, a church MUST accept people who sin or else it would be empty. I go to church, I sin, I ask God to forgive me, I do my best to let other people see me first as a good person - a Christian; not as a someone who openly sins. My church would not accept me if I openly practiced violence and cruelty even though I can be violent and cruel in my thoughts, I just don't practice my thoughts. A church should accept gay people, but should not accept people who are openly gay until they stop acting on these urges.

The only reason a gay or lesbian would come to chuch is to try to ease their evil deeds thinking that going to a church will make them feel good, If they truly wanted peace, they will have to repent & turn away from that lifestyle, Do you know that even satan goes to church, It is true, a gay or lesbian person can be saved & turn away from their evil lifestyle. Even though they know it is in the bible to condem such acts they commit, they think I went to church & God will over look my lifestyle since I darken a church door, God Overlooks Nothing

Good question.

However I would seriously consider finding another church that readily accepts active homosexual couples into the congregation. This is a sin which needs to be repented of. Just as you would not want murderers or bank robbers actively taking communion and helping make decisions based on scriptural congregationalism.

annoying question. It style of relies upon on which church he needs to attend. For some, they might insist he grow to be heterosexual, yet it rather isn't any longer somewhat uncomplicated for some gays. i might say asexual may be maximum in all probability; if he can not look to alter his needs, it would be ultimate to abstain. for some years our congregation had a gay member; yet he became a closet gay, and tried annoying to abstain. We nonetheless enjoyed him besides.

Churches are not God. God does not accept homosexuality, he condemns it. ( in the Old Testament and the New Testament. )
