Toyota will shake up the mix a bit, will be interesting to see how well they do.
With the car of tomarrow it wont matter what your drive all the cars will be the same.

I'm definitely not a Toyota fan because the brand was not born here. If they make the C.O.T. mandatory for all teams, then the Toyota issue will be a moot point anyway. The C.O.T. might make for better racing, but will also take away from the manufacturer rivalry. It may be possible to have more drivers winning races. This year 32 of the 36 races were won by the top 11 in points. If everyone is running the same car, then you would see the drivers that usually finish in the 30s running up front. It may mix it up a little--IROC style.

The only reason I'm somewhat against Toyota is because it's adding more cars and making it harder for Sterling to qualify, although I suppose that's kind of selfish. Otherwise I don't really care, because all the cars are nearly exactly alike.
As for the COT, BLECH! First off, it's ugly, don't look like a stock car. Also, how do SLOWER cars make racing more competitive? The faster the action, the more fun the fans have. Not to mention it's costing teams too much time and money. I know that it's safer, but when Mark Martin can walk out of a wreck like he did at LMS, do you really think that they need a whole new car just for saftey? It'll be interesting though to see how it plays out...

I've said it before,,when they start letting all this foreign junk into the All AMERICAN sport of NASCAR,,racing will no longer be an American past time,,first Toyota,,whats next,,HONDA,BMW's,, etc.?I don't have a problem with those cars racing,,,but let them stay in Formula 1 where they belong,,,its too bad Dale Earnhardt has passed away,,,I would love to hear his TRUE OPINION about this,,I'm sure if you check his coffin, the man is turning over many times!! Toyota and all the rest of that foreign junk is just plain bad!!! NASCAR was created by AMERICAN's for an AMERICAN to race in for AMERICAN MADE CARS!!!,,I may just become a new drag racing fan next year!!!Did I mention I hate foriegn cars!!

Most of the drivers are actually against the car of tomorrow. i personally think that the car of tomorrow is ugly. i am not totally against toyota in nascar, but for those people who can not figure out that toyota is the most sold foreign vehicle in the states: i do not know what to say.

I am actually looking forward to see how the COT performs. But i am against Toyota coming in. That just makes you think if they will pull chevy ford and dodge in the future and have all foreign cars in nascar. Nascar is an american sport. Toyota does not belong in nascar. Bottom line. It is like putting females in the NFL. It just doesn't work

I do not like some of team Toyota's marketing ( or lack of marketing for independents that want to use them) but unfortunately they are in NASCAR.Some of the pro Toyota fans use the fact that Dodge is owned by Germans so it is only right that Toyota comes in.Personally I hope they don't do anything this coming year.
As for C O T well the jury is out.I want to see more action in racing and I hope C O T is it but I don't know yet.

I am against the Toyota entering into cup, and busch just like I was against it when it entered the trucks. They have to get someone like the Waltrips to be spokespersons to kind of get a following. having to come up with a new engine package to meet cup rules and all, we will see how they do. Car of Tomorrow looks stupid and I bet it will be super slow on the bigger tracks it races on. Might be kind of fun to see all those air splitters on the front and all that other stuff smashed up like it will be at Bristol though when it debuts.
