STOP!!!! Make an appointment with a hairdresser and tell her what you did and explain that you need help asap. My daughter did something similar and she is blond. Why a blond would want to go dark brown is beyond me but the color ended up several different shades. Then she called a friend who was sure she knew what she was doing and turned her hair almost white. That's when I stepped in and said STOP before your hair falls out and call a hairdresser....thank goodness she was able to fix it. Don't play with over the counter hair colors.

You can either get a ( professional )Hair Dye Remover, ( more chemicals, tho) or you can put a good conditioner on it, which will help to restore the health of the hair, plus it will lighten it a bit. Get a deep conditioner that you pack on the hair, then go under a hair dryer to allow it to work, then after baking it in, rinse it off. I hope this helps. Don't add any more peroxide; it will dry the hair out more.

if you put peroxide in your hair and go out into the sun for a while it should lighten your hair a little bit.

it can't be that bad, just wear a cap or scarf until the color fades.
