Yes it's causing damage to your hair. To stop yourself from doing this I suggest you have your hair trimmed so you don't have split ends.

i don't think of that pulling chop up ends aside is a competent concept using fact it does much extra injury on your already broken hair. Pulling out gray hair and getting extra to advance decrease back is a delusion - otherwise my grandfather could have an entire head of hair good now!
