What is the going price for Pecans?

Last year Kroger's had them n sale for $5.99 The cheapest I have found this year is $6.99/lb. Are they an cheaper?

Try Trader Joe's, if you have one nearby. I buy all my nuts there, and they are by far the least expensive.

The price is going to be higher since a major portion of the crops have been stolen on the west coast.
