Open up the progams that you want to appear on your Desktop. Then hold the SHIFT button and HIT the PRINT SCREEN button on your keyboard (this appears to the right of the F12 key).
Then OPEN your PAINT program from the Accessories section. Use PASTE from the EDIT menu and that picture will appear. Then use SAVE AS from the FILE menu. Pick JPEG from the Save As Type dropdown. Name that file and click SAVE.
To make it your desktop Wallpaper, simply Right Click on the desktop and pick PROPERTIES. Hit the BROWSE button and look for that picture that you just saved. POOF, your background looks like you are working!
