No,it doesn't.Because the Bible doesn't teach that heaven is home to everyone that is good.
Jehovah's Witnesses believe that only 144,000 faithful men and women will be reigning in heaven as kings and priests with Christ because that is what the Bible teaches.(Rev.14:1-4)
The rest of obedient mankind has the hope of eternal life on earth. This was God's original plan for man.He created the earth for humans. He put the first human pair there, told them to multiply and fill the earth. They were created perfect and designed to live forever. If it wasn't for their rebellion and disobedience, they would still be alive today and we wouldn't all be suffering the effects of their disobedience. It is because of their sinning against Jehovah that they have passed onto all mankind imperfection, sin and death.
In God's due time,he will by means of Christ Jesus wage war against this wicked system and only righteous ones will survive. Then God's purpose will finally be fulfilled. The earth will be filled with righteous followers of Jehovah God.The earth will be restored to its original paradise conditions and man will be blessed with eternal life.
This is why Jehovah's Witnesses obey Jesus' command to 'go therefore and make disciples.....teaching them to observe all the things I have commanded you'(Matt28:19,20),because by our obedience we hopefully will be part of that wonderful new righteous system with eternal blessings in store.

At Revelation 14:1-3 it clearly states that the 144,000 are "bought from the earth" to be with Christ on heavenly Mount Zion.
so that is what those selected few hope is for the future and for the rest of the people they have a different hope, this is shown at Psalms 37:9, 11, 29 Which basically says: "Evildoers themselves will be cut off, but those hoping in Jehovah(God) are the ones that will possess the earth.... The meek ones themselves will possess the earth, and they will indeed find their exquisite delight in the abundance of peace. The righteous themselves will posses the earth, and they will reside forever upon it."
So the ones who don't go to heaven live on the earth forever, but first the evil will be cut off so the rest can live in peace.

Most of the people who are alive as JW's now will not go to heaven. They figure that only 144,000 will go to heaven. The 144,000 people who are mentioned in Revelation are virgin male Jews. It does not speak about only that number going to heaven.
This does not put a crimp in the recruiting.

Don't throw the baby out with the bath water... though JWs may be off in their theology, there really is something to the 144,000 as spoken of in the Book of Revelation.
It appears to be a remnant undefiled group set aside by Christ (God) for the end of our current Earth Age. These few will be endowed with the Supernatural Presence of God (they will not know death until their appoint time) to preach the Gospel one last time throughout the Earth, and to be a thorn in the side of the coming Beasts (False Prophet & False Messiah) along with the physical return of Elijah and Moses (Christ's Transfiguration on Mt. Olivet with the side-by-side appearance of E & M was a metaphor for this future event).

The Witnesses took the verses where Thomas doubted Christ had
resurrected, and he touched Jesus physically, and concluded the
resurrection is to a physical body, and we will live on Earth as perfect humans.
And they have turned everything else around to conform to that belief.
The 144,000 will be, from what I can see, spirit beings that come from the "four corners of Heaven", to create some kind of spiritual power
structure, to help the Highest powers achieve their goals during the
Tribulation.

Behind the rubric of Christianity, the J.W. 's have nothing to do with it. They are a cult, which is why they can believe such ridiculous things. Actually, the top leaders only are slated to go to heaven, since they realized a long time ago that, after they surpassed 144,000 members, not everyone is going to heaven. So they modifying as to who's going, of course, to someone's advantage.

They believe that all other Jehovah's Witnesses will live on a paradise on earth. They believe that all people who were JW will resurrect from their graves, this will be written in newspapers then about every single person, all others will be killed and there will be great rivers of their blood. The JW who will live on the "New Earth" then will sit in beautiful landscapes in harmony with leopards and other predators that will all become completely harmless then.

The preaching work is performed because Jesus commanded it, not because it benefits Jehovah's Witnesses personally or as a religion. As a side point, the vast majority of Witnesses hope to enjoy life ON EARTH forever, rather than in heaven.
Jehovah's Witnesses understand heaven to refer to the dwelling place of spirit creatures such as Jesus and the angels. They understand the Scriptures to teach that exactly 144,000 humans will join Christ Jesus as kings and priests to administer God's Kingdom (which will soon replace all earthly governments).
(Daniel 2:44) God of heaven will set up a kingdom... It will crush and put an end to all these kingdoms, and it itself will stand to times indefinite
(Revelation 14:1) Lamb [Jesus] standing upon the Mount Zion, and with him a hundred and forty-four thousand
(Revelation 20:6) they will be priests of God and of the Christ, and will rule as kings with him
Over whom will they rule? Over the vast majority of mankind, most of whom will have been raised from the dead after Armageddon.
(John 11:23,24) Jesus said to her: “Your brother will rise.” Martha said to him: “I know he will rise in the resurrection on the last day.”
Hell is NOT someplace/something mankind needs to fear; there is no suffering in the grave. Sometime after the resurrection, death and "hell" will themselves be destroyed.
(Ecclesiastes 9:5) For the living are conscious that they will die; but as for the dead, they are conscious of nothing at all
(Ecclesiastes 9:10) there is no work nor devising nor knowledge nor wisdom in Sheol ["hell"]
(Revelation 20:14) And death and Hades ["hell"] were hurled into the lake of fire
Almighty Jehovah God selects those few who have the heavenly calling. Each person "feels" his own hope and each person's hope remains unquestioned by his fellow Christians. Still the vast majority (literally more than 99.9%*) of Jehovah's Witnesses expect an EARTHLY hope, the same hope given to Adam and Eve.
(Genesis 1:28) God blessed them and God said to them: “Be fruitful and become many and fill THE EARTH and subdue it [caps added]
(Genesis 2:17) You must not eat from it, for in the day you eat from it you will positively die [so never eating from that tree means never dying]

Perhaps you should do some research on the background of the JW's? You will find about the Miracle Wheat, they sold and claimed to have 5-Times the yield of regular wheat!
IF you examine the 144K of Revelation 7 = you will see that they are All JEWS, 12K from each of the 12Tribes. Also all of the 144K are All MALES, Rev 14:4!
