The difference is mainly etymological as freedom is of a Germanic origin while Liberty is Latin. You must know that English is originally Germanic but it was so much influenced by Latin as well as French. For the meaning, according to webster New World dictionary:
Freedom: the state or quality of being free, a right or privilege
Liberty: freedom or release from slavery, imprisonment,captivity...., the sum of rights and exemptions possessed in common by the people of a community, state, etc so u may see, there is no much difference in sense but u can say that liberty is more formal than freedom.
hope this helps u :)

Liberty is for Libs and Freedom is for us Cons. Totally two different concepts. To make it more clear, Libs tie up their dignity into the logic that homosexuality is a God given right and that it should be spread and shoved down our throats. In addition, kiling our christian babies is also another right. As for us Cons, "FREEDOM" stands against their concept of liberty and apose flag burning which is a symbol /fabric of our constitution.

"True liberty consisteth in man's submission unto My commandments, little as ye know it.

Say: The liberty that profiteth you is to be found nowhere - except in complete servitude unto God, the Eternal Truth."
