There are no slang word for French people.
Only the derogatory term "Frog"
Because some of them eat frog legs.
But there are plenty of slang words in the French language.
So much so that the French people cannot sometime understand each other.
Different provinces use different slang and also different prononciation.
Rude people live in Paris. Just like they do in New-York.
I don't think they are rude on purpose.
It is just the busy lifestyle.
There is Paris and there is France.
There are two different cultures.
The French people don't want to know about Paris.
Paris is only for the people of Paris.
People from Paris travelling around France are viewed as outsiders. The French people don't like them.
Most of the French government policies revolve around the city of Paris. Which is another reason why the French people don't like Paris. Paris gets everything and they get very little.

"frog" for "French"/"Frenchman"
Mark Kronauer: What is the origin of the word "frog" when used as a slang term for "French" or "Frenchman"?
Terry O'Connor: English people and French people have long been enemies, culturally, militarily and commercially. In fact the two countries have almost been at war more often than at peace. (Well, not really, but it sometimes seems that way when you browse the history books.) So insults between the two nations are common. The French have described the English as a nation of shopkeepers and the English have described the French as a nation of frog-eaters. So, boil it down over the years and "frog-eaters" becomes frogs or froggies. N'est pas?
RICHARD YOUNG: The story I heard was that this term dated from the middle ages, when the French flag had a blue background with gold fleur-de-lys on it. The ignorant English, not knowing that the fleur-de-lys was supposed to be a flower, though that it represented a gold frog. Hence "frog" became a derogatory term for the French.

Why do we have to have abusive words for other nationalities?' That's not slang, it's not funny, it's just sick.
