And does God approve of killing millions of innocent animals every day just for satisfying our tongue? grains, milks and fruits are ok. But how can we justify huge acts of slaughter in the name of merciful loving God?call out Gouranga!

I don't know but I do know that God don't approve of any of those things you listed, that's why I don't celebrate any holiday in which something is killed.

Well, in Genesis we are reccomended to eat fruit and grains. If where we go is Gan Eden (as some Jews believe) then I'm sure it will be the same.
'I did not claw my way to the top of the food chain to eat rabbit food' - You didn't claw your way to the top of the food chain, full stop. That's like me saying 'I didn't win the First World War for nothing!' - You weren't a part of it so you have no claim on the rewards.

We aren't killing cows in the name of God and there are no slaughter houses in heaven, in fact God created animals for us to use. God created the entire universe just for us. Purposely torturing animals is a sin though.

depending on the religion you believe in...

christianity and ismlam believe that heaven has "manna" a heavenly food that surpasses anything a human has ever tasted... and that's the only food required there.

as far as dear old Earth is concerned, all the creatures here are under our governance, and while i sincerely believe that waste (excessiveness) is a crime, i think meat is very important of our dietary requirements...

do remember that people are dying of starvation in many places on this Earth... we're yet to achieve a proper equilibrium as far as food resources are concerned...

let's not waste our time with petty and insincere arguments about religion and food and veganism. contribute what you can do the food programs globally and fight hunger.

with your stomach full everyday, its easy to be judgemental and decide what others should or shouldn't eat.

hope this helped...

you have to understand GOD to know how he works he is the Omega. and so what if there is? does it really matter? he created us, doesn't that give him the right to do as he wishes? but the answer to this question is no. Animals do not have a soul they are things put on this earth to keep us humans busy and to fill our childrens bellys as well as our own. Satan has control of the world right now only because GOD is allowing it and it isn't time for closure, remember GOD gives life he doesn't take it away, Satan himself does.

Why would I want to do all pious things to go to heaven if I am going to be deprived of good food there?
There will be slaughter houses.
There will be pleasure houses.
There will be casinos.
There will be night clubs.
There will be topless bars.

There may be no need to pray. So, may be there will be no churches.
There will be no speeding tickets.
There will be no parking meters to feed.
There will be no parking tickets.
What more can one ask for?

Well, the animals don't seem any worse off for it...
They keep reproducing in a managed controlled fashion. Just like the Bible says, we are to have dominion over the world. Some animals are food! Tasty too...

There must be...because my idea of heaven is eating as many beefburgers as I want without putting on weight!

And clearly God approves of killing animals. He built this whole set up didn't He? Why do you think eating other living things (botanical) is OK but not animal? You have to eat something or cease to exist.

Yes god approves of it, oh I see you left out fish, they are also animals, it's fine with me if you want to eat soy-patties, but for me slaughter the food we eat, it's a harvest, thank God for all the animals he gave us to eat, praise the lord.

is this a serious question? firstly yes God has given us dominion over all plant and vegetable life on earth for our human sustenance
and secondly it is amazing how animal rights supporters will take the part of animals over human beings especially the unborn child.
