There may be something wrong with the cable, I think you should either phone up/email/write letter to ghd or take them back to the place you bought them from and see if they know what's wrong.
By any chance, do you wrap the cable around your ghds? and is the cable melted in any places?
Just checking because my friend wrapped the cable around hers before they had cooled down, the wire melted, circuit was broken and now her GHDs don't work.
Good Luck!!

Not really that good with electrials, but my friends GHD's stopped working, and she rang up the company, and they got her to send them back and they should either fix them, or replace them. I think they sometimes might charge for repairing them, but i think it depends on what the problem is. If it's a manufacturing fault they shouldn't charge, but if it's something that you've done they probably would.

The same happened to me last month! My dad's an electrical engineer and couldnt fix them so I'm Gonna get T3's for xmas. Apparantly they don't burn your hair like ghd's and keep hair more full instead of thin.

As long as you still have your guarantee you can send them back to GHD, they will fix them and send them back. If the guarantee has expired they will still fix them but they will charge you, but is still cheaper then buying another set!

i take advantage of chi. i've got by no potential had one snap in 0.5 yet I particularly have had them get shorts in them. I went by way of 2 in a three hundred and sixty 5 days and then found out it replaced into because of the fact i replaced into wrapping the cord around the straightener. i've got not had a undertaking because of the fact that I provide up doing this. once you wrap the cord around it it motives the coils interior the cord to break and that's the reason you get shorts in them. i would be unable to help you to on the snapping in 0.5 section although.
