(Numbers 31:16-18)
Moses commands the murder of approximately 100,000 young males and, roughly, 68,000 helpless women.
Consider women and children of your own family: No matter how sick they may lay, or how they may go against a religion, how would you feel if a man named Moses, claiming to speak for God, sent men into your house and hacked to pieces the women and male children? Also, how would you react if they spotted a female child, dragged her off with them to do as they please with her? Note that these innocent virgins served for their own sexual pleasures.

The Bible
"Behold, these caused the children of Israel, through the counsel of Balaam, to commit trespass against the LORD in the matter of Peor, and there was a plague among the congregation of the LORD. Now therefore kill every male among the little ones, and kill every woman that hath known man by lying with him. But all the women children, that have not known a man by lying with him, keep alive for yourselves." (Numbers 31:16-18)

Moses had spoken and met with God many times, so he was doing as God had instructed. Those acts were the consequences to sin. Wake up and read the Bible. That is why Jesus was born, lived, died and arose again from the dead. So that the old law, the old way of doing things were no more. We have an Advocated, a Redeemer, a Savior, a Friend through Christ Jesus, Gods only Son.

Yea he was
He mad a command decision when dealing with an unruly mob. One wonders what YOU would do.
Ok, you have a few hundred loyal to you and a few hundred thousand ANGRY and DISSENTING.
Now, what do you do, remember there's enough of them to string you up.
OK.
You're a US Solider in Iraq with a platoon and half the town is coming at you with clubs and knives and even machine guns.
What do you do!
You have no avenue of retreat.
How do you make your point or do you just let them KILL all of you!
Today police fire rubber bullets and use CS gas.
That wasn't an option back then.
Understand, I'm not saying his actions were Godly. He never professed to be God.
GOD wipped out whole cities.
If GOD can wipe out a city to make a point Moses can do what is necessary to get the masses under control.

So what can God not do? Isn't the universe for His own pleasure? Are humans more moral than God?
God told Moses for his legions of warriors to kill off the any people who worshipped other gods, but not to rape. Any Israelite not killing the enemy would find himself killed also.
God hates competition, from the unbelieving warrior to the infant. Expect the same judgment from the same moral God when the final trumpet blasts. Don't get caught!

If you should ever truly seek the truth God has provided it for you and all that know him will help you in your search for understanding. If you are seeking a reason not to believe you are wasteing your short temporary life and the time of them that wish to help you to know God.

Some even believe God will not pour out His wrath on the sinful shortly.
Get ready. God is getting ready to rapture the righteous and pour out His wrath on the sinful.
