I wrote to this woman and told her I felt for her and didnt have her number, and that if I didnt hear from her, I would move on. She called and left her number. Talked to her for a long time. Then left voice mail asking her out for specific date. No call back. I eventually call back and she sounds happy to hear from me, and then I told her to keep in touch. She said she definitely would. What's the deal with her? Is she interested?

yes, from a womans point of view i would say she's interested. i think that maybe she's lacking some confidence, maybe unsure of what to say when she actually sees you face to face. it's so much easier to talk on the phone.
back to her not calling you with a specific date maybe she didn't get the voicemail, or maybe she was just excited to hear that from you. you know her better than we do use the advice from here and your own instincts.

I think she really likes you but she obviously lacks the confidence in meeting you in person.
Perhaps she finds herself 'unattractive' and feels like she couldn't match up to you in terms of your expectations of a woman's appearance.
If you sincerely feel for her and don't mind about her looks, gain her confidence by convincing her that looks are merely superficial and you genuinely like her for who she truly is. She might eventually go out with you.

To be able to know the true reaction of someone, you must talk to her face to face, whether asking her out or anything else. But I guess she's interested and maybe she didn' t get your previous message!! Who knows? To be sure of her feelings, I suggest you talk to her face to face.

you can never tell with phone conversations the best way to tell is if and when you two ever meet then you can find out then (i dont think she feels the same just by the way your phone tag is going but good luck
