My wife and I placed the 2" topper purchasable at Cosco on jtop of our existing queen bed on our boat, which was a 6 inch medium desity foam blocak and it made it feel like the best mattress we've every had. We us the 2 " topper on every sleeping surface now. It costs about $100 dollars (one hundred) and it is by far the best purchase for the buck. I don't see the total bed memory foam purcahse as being a good buy. These beds will degrade in water or from wetting so be aware.

Contrary to what you believe, it's not that comfortable. You sink into it. Plus it gets very hot. And there is a very strong smell to the foam. We bought the one from Costco, and returned it two days later. It also depends on each individuals experience. Some will tell you it's the best. I did not think so.

for that kind of money...get ain air or water bed and bank the spare bucks.
