If a guy left a message on your voice mail asking you out for a specific date a few days away, do you think that's wimpy or not the correct way? Do you call back, or do you wait till he gets you live on the phone to ask you?

Me personally, it wouldnt matter how he went about asking me out. It shows he is interested no matter how he has done it. I would think to myself if he sent me a text message or left a voice mail that he was a shyer type guy, but if I liked him, then I would certainly reply. I think the main thing is that his interest in me is obvious no matter how he did it, and if you are interested, then contact him...hes made the first move regardless of how hes done it.
Just do what you feel comfortable in doing and see what happens. Dont worry so much about protocol, just be happy that he is interested....Maybe hes shy.....shy is not wimpy.

As a JEDI MASTER of dating girls,, i say that was a bad move on the guy, "should not leave messege like that, just ask her to call back or you'll call back later. i know you were asking the ladies but thought i could help out . yeah next time do that , that way you dont have to wait for her to call you and you can call her since you stated that on ethe messege, oh and dont ask her specific dates, just do this: " Hey i don't have any plans on so so day so lets hang out and do something" thats very natural and nonthreatening and she will feel relaxed about letting you know when she can go out, AND NEVER SAY The word DATE!!! say HANGOUT!!!

Its not so much wimpy because you tried to call to tell her but maybe asking her over the phone would be better. if you said something like hey i was wondering if youd meet me here at this time so just call me back and lemme know then no i dont see that as wimpy. Every girl is diff tho.

No, you call back....focus on the fact that he asked you out and cut the guy a little slack on the method...If someone calls you, the polite thing to do is call him back...so call him and give him an answer....if you like him then go out with him...if you don't then politely decline...but always take the high road...be a lady and treat people with respect and kindness....your life will be better for it....good luck

I'd prefer him to ring me 'live' to ask me out. A message is not as personal...........leave a message asking her to ring back or saying you'll talk to her soon would be better. Do you think she's going to knock you back? The worst that can happen is that she'll say 'no'. That's not the end of the world, just not meant to be! So be brave and ask 'live'. Good luck.

i think the guy should ask the girl personally. if he can't even ask a girl out in person, how is he supose to go on tha date and talk to her?sms her tha whole time??!!!
