Yes but it is a shot instead of a pill; it's a MisMate Shot. But it is hard to get anymore as the vet supply companies have stopped making the shot (it's really just a high doseage shot of cattle estrogen). It must be given within 48 hours of the mating.
But the dangers of using it are severe. One it causes the heat period to be extended which can harm the female; 2 it can cause severe bleeding; 3 it can cause her to never be able to concieve pups again; 4 she can have an life threatening allergic reaction to it; 5 it can cause her uterus to rupture.
It is much safer to have the vet spay her and take the pups at the same time. There is a safe herbal alternative you can use.
Go to your nearest herbal store and get Pennyroyal and Blue Cohosh. Give her either a pill a day of each or if you get it in powdered form sprinkle a teaspoon of each on her food. Give it to her everyday for the next couple of weeks. It cause abortions in dogs and humans too so don't get around it if you yourself are pregnant because it can be absorbed through your skin or enhaled. It cause the uterine wall muscles to contract which cause the embryos to dislodge themselves....hence the abortion.
It works I am told (never had to use it myself) 95% of the time.

There is an injection you can give after the event , you need to go to the vet as soon as possible the injection can be given a few days or more after the mating but the earlier you inject your dog the better. You will ned to be very careful in future not to take her out when she is in season as it is not healthy to give these injections all the time. Getting her spayed is the healthier option but not till she is a bit older your vet will advise you.

Yes. It is a shot, not a pill. But be very careful if you deside to go this route. There are risks. I would call the vet first thing Monday morning. The longer that you wait, the more dangerous it becomes for the dog.

Yes, the vet can give her the injection everyone is mentioning - but only once per heat. If she gets breed again, you (and she) are out of luck. The other possibility is to skip the injection, & have her spayed in one month. As you have now learned how nearly impossible it is to keep a dog in heat from getting bred - please leave breeding to the experts & schedule to have her spayed in 4 weeks regardless. Please -there are too many mixed breeds already in shelters & most will be euthanized because there are not enough homes for them all.

Yes! Take her to the Vet as soon as possible.
The Vet can give her a 'morning after' injection but take care not to let it happen again.
My friends b**ch was 'caught' by their dog twice in the same week!
She had the morning after injection the first time but the Vet wouldn't give her another one so soon after the first as he said it would endanger her health.

There is an injection that a vet can give. This is not without risk to your dog and some vets will refuse to give it for this reason. The alternative is to have your dog neutered now, which removes the problem for good.
If you were a professional breeder you would already know this - which leads me to the conclusion that you wish to join the ranks of back-yard breeders. Please reconsider and have your b1tch spayed now.

Yes, it's called a misalliance injection. Ask your vet about it.
It might be a better idea in the longer term to get her spayed, just to be certain.

Yes.; It's not a pill, but a shot. Bring your dog to the vet and explain what happened, they can take care of it. I had to have it done to one of my dogs a few years ago.
