I drink a lot of Cola. I admit I am addicted, it calms me down when im anxious or nervous and I drink several a day. I always get stomach aches and the slightest thing makes me throw up. Are these symptoms linked to the cola? If so, why is it?

The fact your suspicious of Cola in the first place is a sign its the cause or if not at least its contributing. I advise trying to cut back on cola it wasn't intended to be drunken several times a day on a weekly basis.

could be acid reflux, or if you constantly feel like youre going to throw up, it might be something like spastic colon. either way, you need to go see your doctor. try eating some yougurt, as the milk is already paritially digested by the bacteria that live in it. ive also noticed any time i am stressed out, i have some of the similar symptoms. you may take the stress out on your stomach. "em" made a really good point. celiac's disease is so rare, that it is usually the last thing tested for. may want to look into it. a freind of mine has it, and when he eats gluten, his stomach is physically hard, and he feels ill. this went on for seven years before they tested him!

Just drop a coin into a glass of cola and see how clean it comes up. Now imagine what it is doing to your stomach lining.

Probably! I once had severe abdominal pain, hospitalized, the only clue was that I was a cola drinker at the time! I had no other vices the doctor inquired about. My pancreas had the problem, had to get healed. Very very painful!

It probably is not the sole cause but aggravates another problem. Try changing to a clear soda or stop drinking soda altogether and see if your symptoms clear up. It is hard on your stomach - especially if you aren't eating correctly.

Don't know about those. But do know the acid in it erodes your bones.
