Well, if you have good homes lined up for 3-12 kittens (you never know how many she will have), letting your cat have kittens is OK. I suggest taking a trip to the pound first and seeing all the little guys in there in cages needing homes. If after that you still want to have kittens, just get a male and let them hang out together. It WILL happen. Cat breeding is not a pretty sight. The males just throw her down and do the job usually while she screams. Male cats in general are not grumpy but toms will run off looking for other mates and lots of times end up roadkill or breakfast for predators. Yes, kittens are cuddly and cute, but responsibilty is #1. I hope this helps. Good luck.

you are a little girl right?
You are also totally irresponsible putting your cat through this. Why add more kittens to the thousand which are being dumped every year? You cannot just get a male and expet allt o be well. He will kill the kittens when they are born. The best course of action would be to find a home for your cat with someone who loves cats and get yourself a goldfish.

Male cats are not all mean and grumpy. Ihave a female that is nasty at times. Female cats usually pick there own mate they just dont mate on a whim. My male cat is alot more loving than she is. Its possible your female may mate with your future male cat but that doesnt guarantee that they will remain friends. some female cats are nastier than males.

I have a male cat and he is the best cat I've ever seen. He knows his name, loves attention, lets me hold him, gives me kisses, and LOVES my dog. I don't think that there is any differences between female cat's attitudes and male cat's attitudes. In a matter of fact, the only mean cat I had was a girl!

I work at an animal shelter, and it doesn't make sence to let your cat have kittens. There are so many homeless and unwanted animals in the world today, we should be giving them homes and not bringing more into being.Spay and neuter your pets.

You should not want your cat to have babies so bad. Why don't you go to your local animal shelter and just adopt a few cats??

SOUNDS TO ME LIKE YOU KNOW NOTHING ABOUT CATS AND SHOULDN'T DO THIS MALE CATS ARE NOT GRUMPY BY NATURE ANY CAT IS GOING TO BE RETURNING WHAT IT IS GIVEN LOVE FOR LOVE AND DISINTEREST FOR DISINTEREST FOR SOME REASON YOUR CAT DOESN'T WANT KITTENS MAYBE HER INSTINCTS ARE TELLING HER IT WOULD BE DANGEROUS FOR HER PERHAPS THERE IS SOMETHING THAT IS PHYSICALLY WRONG WITH HER THAT COULD KILL HER IF SHE HAD KITTENS IF SHE DOESN'T WANT THEM GET HER FIXED AND START PAYING MORE ATTENTION TO HOW YOUR PETS FEEL ABOUT THINGS THEY DESERVE RESPECT TOO

maybe you should talk to a vet about this problem. stop buying male cats if this method keeps failing. also you could try using a search engine to find out more about cats or refer to the library.
