Of course you can! Congratulations on making it this far - you should be really proud of yourself.

Just make sure you do things like getting out of the house everyday, are really kind to yourself and get help from the university medical centre if you feel yourself getting down again.

Good luck and enjoy your return to uni :-)

Ofcourse you can my friend! You are assuming depression is some kind of mental weakness which makes you less likely to perform as others do. It's perfectly natural you should think this as this is the myth of depression. Actually depression means you have to face up to some of your darkest and most terrifying fears. Depression is also a normal human experience and not the unfortunate experience of few weak people as the myth would have you believe.
Honestly, the person who faces their fears is a much stronger individual than the person who denies they exist and hides them in a facade of coping and busy behaviour. One thing depression teaches you, there is NO SHAME in asking for help with anything you are not sure of in life! I can see you not only returning to Uni but doing very very well there!

It may be hard work, recovery always is, but it'll be worth it!

As long as you want to achieve something you can! I wish you all the luck in the world!

I'm overcoming a severe anxiety disorder at the moment and am determined to get better too!

Best wishes chick!

As long as you can see yourself doing it, you can!
Visualising it will help it seem easier to tackle beacuse your head almost thinks you've already done it!
It'll be an accomplishment for you just to get there, and think about what you'll get out of it from walking back through those doors!
You'll do it!

You will most probably experience panic attacks, this will be normal and it will make you feel awful BUT all you have to remember is the people around you are not talking about you and they do not know what you are thinking SO smile and they will most probably smile back unless they are sad.
Do not give a **** about anyone else but yourself. Focus on what you want to achieve and just keep thinking to yourself, tomorrow will be easier because it will.

Care about yourself, know one else will.

Good luck.

of course you can do it, you are a strong person. You have admitted you have a problem and dealt with it. Go back smiling and happy to be back on track.

Good luck and all the best.

of course that you can. just don't let thing's get on top of you. find a balance between work and play. and take it every step at a time. to just consider going back to uni is a massive achevement in it's self.

Of course! If you're feeling better and you're ready and raring to go, you'll be fine! It's natural to feel nervous after you have been away for a while, but you're better now, so try not to worry.

when you go to uni make some new mates. while your hanging with them and having fun you will totally forget being depressed. but if it gets to bad you can tell them about it. They will be glad that you have told them.

Good Luck.

take one step at a time, it will be difficult. I had a friend whose experience was similar. Keep your friends around you, and don't feel ashamed to ask for help and support. I'm sure you will do just fine.
