This worked for me, I went upto a girl in club and I said "My mate fancies you" only she misheard me and thought I said "I fancy you". At the end of the night I got her phone number and we are still together after nearly 8 years and now married.

I don't hold with chat up lines because I think the most attractive thing in a guy is confidence, and if he has it he can get away with almost anything, but a guy who is lacking in confidence, trying to act confident is the biggest turn off. It's about being yourself, and if you try to be something you're not, you just end up looking like a fool. Be yourself, be proud of who you are, and don't try to copy or be like someone else. When a woman see's you aren't afraid to be yourself, she is much more likely to be attracted to you.

I just like a guy to be himself. Chat up lines are rubbish!!!

It is much more sexy when a guy has a bit of class around him self. And is confident about who HE is, and not putting on an act.

Good for you grahamC. That is one of the nice stories!!

Well some guy used this on me once and I thought it was slightly witty.
"Has a complete stranger ever came up to you and asked you for your name? Because I have to say you look stunning, I'm Jim and you are?"
I have to say I was stunned into silence into a few minutes, yes I realize its cheesy :P
