Cheese Sauce For Nachos

1 (6 1/2 ounce) jar marinated artichoke hearts
1 (16 ounce) jar salsa
1 (16 ounce) jar cheese sauce (I use tostitos brand garlic)
1 package frozen spinach, thawed or 1 lb spinach, torn with stems removed
3 dashes Tabasco sauce or hot pepper oil (or any other "hot" stuff you like)
1 bag nacho chips

take all of the ingredients, except the chips and put into a large microwave safe bowl.
Feel free to add whatever you think is yummy, I have added roasted red peppers, jalepenos, and so on to it.
Nuke it till it is hot.
Keep an eye on it, and stir it frequently.
Open up the chips and chow down!
I also like to drop a huge spoonful of sourcream in the middle of the bowl, then you dip into the sour cream and through the cheese mix.
Soo yummy!

Put half a pint of milk and a little butter in to a sauce pan, add some plan flour about a large hand full maybe a bit more. heat it up. but make sure you stir it hard till it's boiled. takes about 5 mins. Once it's gone thick remove from the boil and stir in grated cheese. As much as you want for flavour. the heat from the boiling milk will be enough to melt the cheese. Happy cooking.

Buy some Velveeta, but the generic brand works just fine. Melt it in the microwave, and add whatever nacho ingredients you like: salsa, black olives, jalapeno peppers, even some cooked ground beef, and it is ready for dipping. If you want just plain cheese sauce, just melt the Velveeta.
Half a loaf of Velveeta to half a small jar of salsa works add more or less to your tastes.

You dont need sauce. Just get shredded cheese, sprinkle it to cover the nachos and bake until the cheese is melted.

GRILLED SALSA-CHEESE DIP
Makes about 2 cups.
Serves 8

1/2 pound milk semi-soft cheese, such as Edam, Gouda or Jack
1/2 cup salsa

Cooking Directions
Shred cheese, place in small heatproof ceramic or metal dish or skillet.

Stir in salsa.

Place over medium-hot fire; let cheese melt, stirring frequently to make sure cheese doesn't scorch on bottom of dish.

Scoop melted cheese mixture with fresh raw vegetables and tortilla chips.

Serving Suggestions
Gather the gang around the grill for this spicy, cheesy dip. Have plenty of vegetable dippers and corn chips available for scooping.

Get a can of Rotel (or Salsa) and a block of Mexican Velveeta cheese. Drain MOST of the juice from the can of Rotel and put in a microwave safe container (or you can do it on the stove). Cut the cheese up so it will melt faster. Cook in the microwave, stirring occasionally, until melted. I like to use the lime flavored Tostito's to dip in it.

A creamy cheese sauce, if that is what you want, is made of cheddar and a teeny bit of milk, cook until melted together. Peppers and pepper sauce can be put in as well. I have see it made with a teaspoon of flour as well.
For me, I usually just throw cheese, tomato, etc over the chips and microwave.
