It's truly amazing. I give a website address on the topic of animal souls and many who answered appear to have not even visited the site. They answered the question using the conclusions formed by their own opinions. It's quite obvious by their answers. Many said I've provided no proof despite a large number of Bible Scriptures and the names of Biblical scholars who have proven the belief and who are accepted authorities on the Bible. Please visit the website and if you refuse to belive the Bible then that's a problem you will have to deal with. But please don't suggest that I've provided no proof. Besides all that is on the website is information from the Bible and other authorities. I'm not the expert, they are.

I wrote in my answer that animals have souls within the definition given by me. I doubt animals have spirits in the sense of having conscience, intuition and communion. I subscribe to the view that God will restore all His creation which He has considered good in the new heaven and new earth. So animals will be in heaven irrespective of whether they have spirits as defined.
I still hold this opinion after reading the link with many things that I agree with.
The main point is that God will restore mankind and all His other creation.

I had a brief look at the site... very funny... wouldn't it be great if animals had souls... that would mean that when Jesus cast the Demons into the herd of pigs and all the pigs leapt off a cliff, he was being a real seriuos bastard!
