check forGOUT this could be the reason gout does not only come out in the foot as a lot of people believe.

is it like water under the skin of the kneecap i had it .it was water on the knee what job does your husband do i do a lot o kneeing in my job went to the doctors and they just drained it of no problem took a couple of minutes no pain should go and see i left my for weeks wish i went straight away but you know men and doctors hope he is better soon

Get him to A&E he needs an xray to see what going on inside the knee, once thats done the Doc can get the treatment right.

Go to A&E,,my step dad had a bad knee,,and being all macho he left it and left it,,but the pain got so bad he went to the doc's who sent for an exray and he had an absess,,so its better to be safe than sorry.

The best thing for him is ibuprofen which is an anti-inflammatory drug and can be bought over the counter but he will not be able to take it long term as it can cause stomach problems. If the problem persists he will have to see his GP who will prescribe him another anti-inflammatory drug which can be taken long term.

if your husband can not get an instantaneous appointment mutually with your known practitioner then i could bypass to twist of fate and emergency on the wellness center on a weekday morning formerly 10am while this is not busy.

my friend hurt her knee and went to doc sent her to hosp now she didn't know how she done it had e rays turned out that she hurt her back time ago and is was all to do with back injury so just go to docs xx

i KNOW THIS SOUNDS ODD, but the Guy next door had this and the doctor told him he was suffering from housemaids knee! Honest, I'm not kidding you!

sounds to me like he has a torn ligament and needs to see an orthopedic I am having surgery tuesday morning myself for the same problem.
