FireFox.
IE7 was just an upgrade to what FireFox 1.5 had already.
Also, IE7 is from Microsoft, so it's worse.
FireFox 2 is already out and has integrated toolbars/searches from Google, Yahoo!, and others.
It also has better security and is faster than IE7.
You also don't need a legal copy of Windows to run FireFox and FireFox 2.0 will run on more Operating Systems.
FireFox also has some Add-Ons that are useful, like FlashGot, which allows you to download files faster. There's also AdBlock Plus, which can stop ads from even loading on pages, so you can view a web page faster.

IE 7 is the latest version from the Microsoft. It is definitely good and has all the features and more than its competetiors. But.........mm... I dont recommend any browser from Microsoft since hackers are always working to pick holes in Microsoft software. Browser is an important tool for the net. So dont pick one with too many enemies, like Microsoft. Go for Opera and FireFox. Download both and use both, since some sites dont work on either one of them.It is very unusual for sites not to work on both of them. You can also use IE7 sometimes, especially to download important software from microsoft like "windows defender" etc. Simply switch. you can run any number of browsers at the same time. And dont forget to turn the 'firewall' on for any browsers.

Why limited to 2.. i think of FLOCK is between the final AND good BROWSER.. after this AVANT BROWSER: worldwide's quickest BROWSER.. equipped on correct of IE. surely internet Explorer is extremely errors carriers.. via loss of protection good factors and bugs.. IE7 is the main present day so there ll be launch of a few protection patches for IE7 then it ll be extra good.

There are a few (only one that I can think of) that think IE7 is more secure than FF2, but overwhelming the majority agree that FF2 is more secure
To name a few
United States Computer Emergency Readiness Team:
"There are a number of significant vulnerabilities in technologies related to the IE domain/zone...It is possible to reduce exposure to these vulnerabilities by using a different web browser"

Cnet
PCworld
Wall Street Journal
Computer world
They all say that Firefox is better and more secure

No browser is perfect, but history has shown that FF is more secure than IE
http://www.webdevout.net/security_summary.php#vulnerabilities
As of today, history is repeating itself, both have holes in them, but IE7 has more and they are rated more "critical"
IE7 (3 vulnerabilities)

FF2 (1 vulnerability)

Firefox is better, all my friends use it. If you decide to use Firefox do not erase IE,you could have problems when downloading something from Microsoft.
