He may have been trying to convince you to respect yourself and look after your body more.
But if he is constantly flirting with you, saying things that make you uncomfortable or doing unbelievable 'tests' that include lots of touching, then be worried. In fact I advise running out of the room screaming - with your arms up in the air!!! for added drama you could also throw in a few occasional spasms before hand and toppling over a tablet tray or two... It wouldn't hurt to also grab the nearest nurse by the waist and climb on top of the receptionist desk while pretending to swat flies.

But seriously, get a new doctor or even change facilities.

Hmm that isa very difficult question what he probably meant was you were important to him as a patient or your case was a priority . He did not mean you as a lover or anything if you felt uncomfortable by what he sadi then make a complaint to the practice manager.

Can't believe people are taking this question seriously! It's an old joke isnt it - the play on words between important and impotent.

What has his being gay got to do with the quality of his advice?
Ask for a second opinion if you aren't certain, and presumably, since the subject came up, you aren't
