act strangely do you always pursue it or do you sometimes take a step back heres the situation i texted this guy i use to date we dated fora bit he was really into me although at first he said he thought i was a little scary..and was frightened to approach me..basically i was having a difficult time at work and it was right guy wrong time i could not give him the attention i should off also i was so upset about work and i was bottling it up well i just acted really wierd..Anyway its been 7 monts and i texted him to say sorry for my erratic behaviour and jokingly said 'do u still think i should be locked up?' He replied and he said "Dont worry about it. It doesnt matter. Glad u and u friends can laugh at it. Take care" what does this mean should i text him and ask him for a drink ...i really like him...

he's blowing you off. Take care is a phrase we use 2 ways. if it is said really fast and like he doesn't mean it it is "ok go away now" but if it's kinda halted speech and it comes out like kinda soft and has a pause before it and maybe something sweet after then it means " i really care about you". it sounded to me like he's blowing you off. "glad you thought it was funny...take care"
i think he's actually trying to give you a hint that he's not attracted to you. sometimes when guys see you as you really are it is too much. you have to wait until it is too late to be yourself. like after you are married and have kids...just kidding dear.
really, you sound like an intense person, i'm the same way. guys that are dating kinda make up their mind once. to go back and try it again usually doesn't work. it's like going back to the restaurant you had a bad meal at. but you learned something. if a guy needs attention and you don't give or aren't able to give attention to him, chances are he'll feel jilted and take action. like find another girl. keep this in mind. and don't let things bottle up. relax gf, things are going to be ok. it's just a job get another one. and find a nicer guy next time. one that loves scary girls with a sense of humor

So he thinks your a little crazy from when you guys use to date. Then one day seven months later you text message him out of the blue to apologize? and he responds "Don't worry about it. It doesn't matter. Glad u and u friends can laugh at it. Take care." It seems like he is trying to distance him self from you first he says his opinion of your joke doesn't matter. Notice how he says "Glad you and your friends can laugh at it" not "Glad we can all laugh at it now" and I don't like the "take care" it sounds like he is saying take care of your self (as in alone or with out him). I would really think before texting him but people are always going to do what they want any ways.
