I agree. We're all the same and we are all equal. Unfortunately too many people live in fear, and will transfer that fear onto others in the form of hate. All it does to me is show how insecure the haters are in themselves.

I agree with your point. the main purpose of religion is to generate order and peace but how can their be oder and peace if their is prejudice within each beliefs. I relly believe that it is the deed that defines the nature of a person not the physical attributes.

Many beliefs often clash with other beliefs. The very science that some religions say is so evil, often saves lives. Well then, let us fight the forces of ignorance and intolerance.

I do judge people for who they as individuals. That said, part of the motivation and composition of an individual is their belief system. Sometimes people are compelled by their belief systems to act in unnecessarily hurtful or unhealthy ways. In return, I am compelled to think that individual's beliefs are dumb. It's just how it works.

Why? Because most ideologies speak in absolutes. "We're right, you're wrong" is their attitude to anyone who holds a different set of views, and they are unwilling to even consider the possibility that their views could be wrong.
Most of the time (about 95%) throughout history it has been religion that is guilty of it, but others are as well.

I agree with you after long years of struggling against prejudices, and wish that many other people will also agree after learning to overcome prejudices. Yes, we must try hard for our peaceful world.

I do agree with you. If people were smart then they would agree as well. It is stupidity that makes a person want to make another person believe just like they do!

The Bible says in the same we judge others we will be judged! I believe God wants us to have a heart of compassion first.

I agree, until Christian fundies try making their religious beliefs everyone's law. That's where my respect ends.

I agree with you. God has created us uniquely, meaning we have differences with others. That question of yours has made me wonder too. I guess some people are not as open-minded as others are. A sad thing, really.
