Your weight is nobody's business (or responsibility) but your own. By letting it get out of control, you set yourself up for potential health risks such as heart disease, diabetes, and many more.
I am personally dealing with my mother who held to the same attitude you have for her entire early adult life. She is now 65 years old and has suffered 4 heart attacks ending in quadruple bypass surgery. She is an insulin dependent diabetic which has resulted in serious complications including 3 strokes. She is blind due to the last stroke, cannot walk without the assistance of a wheelchair or walker and basically lives a miserable life. She is in and out of the hospital continually. Is that what you want for your future? Let me tell you, it's not for me.
Your friend cares about you even though you evidently don't care for yourself. Ultimately, it is your decision and up to you to do or not do what it takes to adopt a healthy lifestyle. It is hard work.
Here is a link which shows the risks of obesity so you don't have to take your friend's or my word for it. I'm sorry for being so harsh, but it is important for your future. I have seen the consequences firsthand.

I think that your friend is just trying to look out for your health. Even though you are drinking non-fat milk all the time that doesn't make you healthy. When you consume fast food, you are consuming a lot of calories, fat, etc. at one time. I used to eat fast food everyday, but then I noticed that when I walked up steps, I would be out of breath by the time I reached the top step. So, I cut back on the fast food and pop and now I'm doing better than I was before.
Instead of eating McDonalds and KFC everyday, eat healthier foods or even Subway. Subway is better than any other fast food place out there. Try eating Subway or something healthier that you could buy from the grocery store and then exercise will help, too. Even just going for a walk everyday burns calories. Try that and see if it helps.

I gained a lot of weight after I got married, but I am losing it now. My motto is: Eat to live, don't live to eat.
It works for me...I lost 5kg in the past 2 months. Try your best, you can still eat the things you like, but eat less of it. Try portion control.

i think your friends are concerned about your health issues. it's perfectly fine for people to live their lives the way they wanted; however, it's always smart to live healthily. a healthier life gives you the chance to enjoy more on the things you already love and helps you to explore even more new excitements in life!
