satan used to be a beutiful angel who chose to defy god and was then cast to hell. if i for example choose to mock and deny god and i go to hell, then why would satan want to burn people with his same mentality? we both are rebels and we both choose to think for ourselves. wouldnt hell actualy be a heaven for people who disagree with christianity.

PS. this is a hypothetical question in which i am pretendig that heaven and hell actualy exist. anyody with have a brain would know that these places are scientificaly impossible

Actually, Lucifer was once a powerful angel, the most powerful and gifted among them all. Lucifer wanted God's position, and was being disrespectful toward God.

As a result, God banished Lucifer to hell for all eternity and that's how it all happened.

Heaven and hell doesn't exist at the moment. People's deeds will be judged on the day of judgement, when God destroys the entire universe. Currently, souls go to God, and the souls have no feelings or memory or whatsoever, they are just a ball of light. But its has been said that God sometimes tests the interactions between souls who were close family members, relatives or friends.

I always find it interesting how so many folks find it easier to judge and jump to conclusions about something rather than actually learn and make an informed decision. Closed minds reside in both the religious and nonreligious. Easier to think of yourself as some how enlightened because you seem to embrace science (though I doubt your actual knowledge of much of anything scientific).

Hell is to be without God. To be out of God's light and grace. Satan cares for no one and nothing but himself. He sees himself as above all. He would use others to advance an agenda of his own and lift not a finger otherwise. Read a Bible. Study a little. To judge something you know nothing about doesn't make you a rebel. It makes you a fool.

1st off... scientifically speaking... science is thought up by man... and the human brain is faulty... thus y would trust science first... second, it doesnt say in the bible, that satan will put u in the fire... Hell Is Probably a nice place right... but, in the end, the last war between God and Satan and his followers, God will win and put them in the lake of fire... Satan knows this, thus y not play a "chess game" with God to show him that he can get as manypeople as he can before he is also thrown in the lake of fire... but im not a big christian either... i belive there is an ultimate creator of everything from the grass beneath our feet to the universes and galaxies... u think these things jus pop into existence becuz the man made "science" says so... elevate ur mind

Satan is looking for as many people as he can to burn for eternity, he is the ultimate loser. Sure hell could be Heaven for people who disagree with Christianity, if burning for all eternity is heaven for you then you hit the jackpot with your belief.for the record nothing is impossible in science...things can be improbrable-never impossible.

I have a brain - last time I checked - and I believe heaven and hell exist. "With God all things are possible" - scientific verification or not.

The Bible teaches that hell is a place of torment designed for the fallen angels. If we choose to continue in our rebellion against God, we are also choosing to join in Satan's ultimate and everlasting punishment.

May God enlighten our eyes that we may escape the judgment that is coming upon the earth...

satan was not cast to hell, but to Earth - read the bible dude.
If you hated someone, you would want others to hate them too.

hell is without God. Without God is eternal Death. Death is the lack of life. Without life one cannot disagree or be in a "heaven".

don't base your thoughts of a group of people on propaganda

ask a better question next time.

well my friend, I am not a christian, nor am I associated with any religion. But if you look at the history of the catholic and christian faiths, their reasons all point towards one single solitary method.....fear....they use fear without much explanation. Their answers cannot get any deeper other than their all defeating reply of "because of god". Their marvelously simplistic answer. God. However, I realize that I can't quite explain the universe in all of it's possibilities, and I'm fairly positive that nobody else can either. But I do know this, I'm going to live my life in whatever way that I see fit, and I am not going to waste a second of it worrying in fear of death and what may come afterwards. Yes I am curious about death, but I will not fear it, and I can only hope that all of you will join me in this decision of fearlesness towards death.

whooooa, sorry if I just blabbed a bunch, I'm a bit tired and am going to go to bed now. good night.

there are some things that logic can not explain, and heaven
refers to a high state of conscious, and hell is a low state of
conscious,so heaven is heaven and hell is hell, but is OK to pretend
that hell is the devils paradise,

Ah hah, so we meet again, . , I myself have asked the same question, I think Hell is like a V.I.P. club ( if it exists) where your reputation proceeds you, if you take the bible literally, god proscribes certain religious practices and calls them "virtues", everything else is a "vice", it logically follows god's virtues would be satan's vices,so those receiving the greatest torment in hell would naturally be false christians, who though always trash-talking satan, didn't quite measure up to god's standards. Which are actually pretty high when you consider that one of the commandments is thou shalt not kill ,and it says in the bible to hate a man is the same as killing him, even christians who only hate "sinners" wouldn't be right as this basically amounts to murder.
