Well, we can't say whether the eyes speak 'better' or not... they speak the 'truth'. Infact our body can't lie unless you are a great actor or a politician !!
That's why it's easier to tell a lie over the phone instead of telling the story face to face. Have you ever noticed, those who lie avoid eye contact... even children.
Perhaps that is the reason they teach body language in communications-skill classes.
